1. Organiser
The “FairPrice Heartland Hits” (“Contest”) is organised by NTUC FairPrice Co-operative Ltd (“FairPrice Group” or “FPG”). By participating in the Contest, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully to ensure your entry is valid.
2. Contest Period
The Contest runs from 24 March 2026 to 30 April 2026 23:59 hrs (Singapore time) on the FairPrice Instagram Page: https://www.instagram.com/fairpricesg.
The key contest phases are as follows:
- Phase 1 <Call for Entries>: 24 March 2026 - 5 April 2026
- Phase 2 <Audience Voting>: 24 April 2026 - 30 April 2026
3. How to Participate
To enter Phase 1 of the Contest, participants must do the following by 5 April 2026, 23:59 hrs (Singapore time):
i) Comment with their FairPrice story and share how their FairPrice makes their day better - the little moments that feel like home.
ii) Mention a FairPrice store location in the comment.
iii) Include in their comment with the hashtags #FPHeartlandHits AND one region hashtag (#FPNorthie, #FPEastie, #FPSouthie or #FPWestie) based on where their neighbourhood FairPrice is located.
If a region hashtag is incorrect in the participant’s comment, the Organiser may determine the correct region based on the store location provided.
To enter Phase 2 of the Contest, participants must do the following by 30 Apr 2026, 23:59 hrs (Singapore time):
i) Vote for their favourite region song via the comment section of the voting post.
ii) Share in the same comment why that region song is their favourite.
4. Contest Requirements
a. Each participant may submit only one (1) Instagram comment (“Entry”) for the Contest. If multiple Entries are received from the same account or same person, only the latest Entry (based on timestamp) will be considered valid.
b. Entries must be original and submitted by the participant.
c. Entries deemed explicit, offensive, unrelated or inappropriate may be disqualified, deleted or hidden.
5. Eligibility
a. The Contest is open to all members of the public, except employees of NTUC FairPrice Co-operative Limited and their immediate family members.
b. Participants must be over 18 years of age.
6. Selection Criteria
For Phase 1
a. Authentic FairPrice Experience: The comment shares a real moment or experience linked to FairPrice.
b. Clear Connection to Everyday Life: The comment shows how FairPrice plays a role in daily routines, shopping or family moments.
c. Specific Detail: Mentions a product, store, staff member or moment which makes the story credible.
d. Overall Impact: The comment feels sincere and relatable to everyday shoppers.
For Phase 2
a. Relevance: The comment clearly states the selected region song and provides a reason for the choice.
b. Authenticity: The reason reflects a genuine personal preference, experience or connection to the song.
c. Clarity: The comment is clear and understandable.
7. Prizes
a. Phase 1: Five (5) winners with the most heartwarming comments will be selected from each region (North/ South/ East/ West). Each winner will receive a S$50 FairPrice Group E-Voucher.
b. Phase 2: Ten (10) winners will be selected by FairPrice based on the selection criteria from participants who voted for the winning region song and submitted a valid comment. Each winner will receive a S$50 FairPrice Group E-Voucher.
c. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash or other items.
d. FairPrice Group reserves the right to replace the prize with an item of similar value without prior notice.
8. Winner Notification
a. Winners will be notified via Instagram Direct Message within seven (7) working days after the Contest ends.
b. Winners must submit their full name, Instagram username, and email address via the form provided for prize fulfilment.
c. Failure to respond by the stipulated deadline will result in prize forfeiture and selection of a replacement winner.
d. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entertained.
9. Rights and Usage
a. All entries submitted will become the property of FairPrice Group.
b. By participating in the Contest, participants grant FairPrice Group and its appointed agencies and partners a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, display and distribute any submitted entry, including user profile photo, username, photographs, names, captions and likenesses, for marketing, advertising, publicity and promotional purposes across all media, without further consent or compensation.
c. Participation in the Contest constitutes permission for FairPrice Group, along with its advertising and promotional agencies to use any of the winner’s names and/or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without further notification, remuneration or compensation to the winner, unless prohibited by law.
d. By participating in this Contest, the winning Participants grant FairPrice Group the right to publish the results of the Contest and Prizes, and disclose and publish their information (including name) across any media or platform that FairPrice Group deems appropriate.
e. FairPrice Group shall not be responsible for any unauthorised use, reproduction or distribution of the submitted content by third parties.
10. Personal Data
By participating, participants agree to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal data for Contest administration and publicity purposes in accordance with FairPrice Group’s Privacy Policy: https://help.fairprice.com.sg/hc/en-us/articles/4464676591129-Privacy-Notice-
11. General Terms
a. FairPrice Group reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entries.
b. FairPrice Group shall not be responsible for technical errors or lost submissions arising from any network or system disruptions.
c. FairPrice Group reserves the right to amend or cancel the Contest or these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
d. By participating, participants agree to abide by all terms and conditions of the Contest.
e. FairPrice Group reserves the right to disqualify any participant who is found to have breached these Terms and Conditions or engaged in fraudulent or dishonest conduct.
