1. General
1.1 These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase and use of FairPrice E-Gift Vouchers ( “e-Vouchers”) issued by NTUC Fairprice Co-operative Limited (“NTUC FairPrice”).
1.2 These Terms shall be read together with the FairPrice General Terms and Conditions (https://help.fairprice.com.sg/hc/en-us/articles/360025882372-Terms-Conditions). In the event of any inconsistency, these Terms shall prevail for matters relating specifically to e-Vouchers. Unless otherwise defined in these Terms, capitalised terms shall have the meanings given in the FairPrice General Terms and Conditions.
1.3 By placing an Order and/or purchasing e-Vouchers, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. You confirm that you have read, understood, accepted and agree to comply with these Terms. NTUC FairPrice may amend these Terms from time to time to reflect regulatory or business requirements. The updated Terms will be published through the relevant NTUC FairPrice platforms. Your continued access or use of FPG Services or use of e-Vouchers after such updates are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Order and Payment
2.1 You may purchase e-vouchers by completing and submitting the order form through the E-Gift Voucher section at https://www.gift.fairprice.com.sg/. Each order constitutes an “Order”. You are responsible for ensuring that all Order details are accurate, including e-Voucher value, payment method and recipient information.
2.2 NTUC FairPrice may, at its discretion, require additional identity verification when you place an Order for e-Vouchers. This may include, without limitation, verification via MyInfo (SingPass) or other methods as determined by NTUC FairPrice. You must complete any required verification before your Order can be processed.
2.3 e-Vouchers may be used to pay for eligible goods and services on https://www.fairprice.com.sg and the NTUC FairPrice mobile application, except for purchases of items from Marketplace sellers. They may also be used at physical NTUC FairPrice stores (excluding FairPrice Xpress), and at Unity Pharmacy outlets (excluding Unity Pharmacy at Changi Airport).
2.4 The minimum purchase value per Order is S$5. e-Vouchers must be purchased in denominations of S$1.
2.5 All Orders are final once transmitted through FPG Services. NTUC FairPrice may process Orders without further consent or notice. NTUC FairPrice may decline any Order at its sole discretion and will not be liable for any resulting losses.
2.6 NTUC FairPrice may suspend, decline, terminate or stop processing any Orders if e-Vouchers are unavailable, or if NTUC FairPrice suspects or reasonably believes that fraud, illegal activity, or a breach of these Terms or applicable law has occurred.
2.7 Where applicable, customers are responsible for resolving disputes with their payment card providers.
2.8 Upon receipt of full payment, e-Vouchers will be generated and delivered to the nominated recipient. Customers must ensure the recipient receives the e-Voucher. If the recipient does not receive the e-Voucher within 2 hours of Order completion, customers must notify NTUC FairPrice at +65 6380 5858. After this period, delivery is deemed complete.
2.9 NTUC FairPrice may adjust FPG Account balances if transactions were unsuccessful, fraudulent, irregular, or caused by technical or processing errors. Such determinations are final.
2.10 If e-Vouchers are over credited and cannot be corrected, NTUC FairPrice may deduct the amount from future transactions or request immediate repayment. Customers must cooperate with recovery efforts.
3. e-Voucher Conditions and Regulatory Compliance
3.1 e-Vouchers are valid for 1 year from issuance. Expired e-Vouchers cannot be redeemed. NTUC FairPrice is not liable for expired e-Vouchers.
3.2 Customers have no contractual right to a refund of any unused e-Voucher value.
3.3 NTUC FairPrice may, where required by law, refund unused e-Voucher value. If the unused e-Voucher value exceeds S$100, FairPrice will process the refund only after the customer’s identity has been identified and verified. Supporting identification documents may be requested.
3.4 e-Voucher balances cannot be withdrawn from any payment or FPG Account in exchange for cash or any currency.
3.5 The total stored value in the user's wallet within their FPG Account must not exceed S$1,000 at any time. NTUC FairPrice may restrict or suspend use if this limit is exceeded.
3.6 NTUC FairPrice may manage, modify, revoke, or remove e-Vouchers for operational, regulatory, or legitimate business reasons. Where this occurs, NTUC FairPrice will refund amounts paid for affected e-Vouchers.
3.7 Terms of use for e-Vouchers are published at https://www.gift.fairprice.com.sg/ . Customers must communicate these terms to recipients.
4. Representations and Indemnity
4.1 You confirm you have not relied on any representations not expressly set out in these Terms.
4.2 For corporate accounts, you represent that you have authority to bind the organisation and that these Terms are legally binding on the organisation.
4.3 You agree to indemnify NTUC FairPrice, its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors and agents against claims, losses or expenses arising from Orders, e-Voucher purchases, breach of law or these Terms, third party rights violations, or misuse of e-Vouchers. These obligations survive termination.
5. Personal Data Protection
5.1 You consent to NTUC FairPrice collecting, using, disclosing and processing personal data for Order processing, e-Voucher delivery, customer service and engagement and administrative purposes in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012, our Privacy Notice, and applicable laws.
5.2 You warrant that recipients and other relevant data subjects have consented to such processing.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 NTUC FairPrice’s total liability under this Agreement shall not exceed the value paid for the relevant Order.
6.2 NTUC FairPrice is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
6.3 You acknowledge that FPG Services and the use of e-Vouchers may be subject to limitations, delays or other issues inherent in internet and electronic communications. These may include device faults, lack of network connection, being out of coverage, or device malfunction. NTUC FairPrice is not responsible for delays, delivery failures or losses arising from such issues.
7. Term and Termination
7.1 These Terms take effect upon your placement of an Order and receipt of full payment by NTUC FairPrice, and continue until expiry of the e-Voucher, unless otherwise terminated earlier in accordance with these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in force.
