3. Prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
4. Prize is NOT inclusive following:-
a. Certificate of Entitlement (COE)
b. Vehicle Emissions Scheme (VES) surcharge, if applicable
c. Servicing program
d. Motor vehicle insurance
e. Road tax
f. IU or OBU installation, as may be applicable
g. Number plates
h. Goods and Services Tax (GST)
i Registration fee
j. Any additional fittings, fixtures and accessories other than those provided by Vantage Automotive Limited in its sole discretion
k. Other incidentals, etc;
All Vantage Automotive Limited (“VAL”) terms and conditions in the following page apply.
Representatives from Vantage Automotive Limited will contact you within 14 calendar days from the published date of the winner in Straits Times.
After the prize presentation and acknowledgement of this letter, all issues with regards to the car should and will be directly communicated to Vantage Automotive Limited by the winner.
Vantage Automotive Limited Terms & Conditions:
As listed on the FairPrice’s website <https://www.fairprice.com.sg/promo/unity-wellness-draw> for the lucky draw:
(a) the Prize Car shall not be exchangeable for cash or any other item or assignable by Winner to any other party;
(b) the Winner shall not be entitled to trade-in or sell the Prize Car for the purchase of another vehicle from VAL or any of VAL related corporations;
(c) the colour of the Prize Car shall be determined by VAL at its sole and absolute discretion;
(d) the Winner shall fulfill all requirements in relation to the registration of the Prize Car prior to taking possession of the Prize Car, including but not limited to:
i. procure the requisite COE for ownership of the Prize Car and registration of the Prize Car through VAL;
ii. procure valid motor vehicle insurance for the Prize Car through VAL;
iii. making payment for the excluded items set out in Clause 2.1 above at VAL’s prevailing rates, as well as prevailing Goods and Services Tax (“GST”) payable thereon;
(e) the Winner shall also pay VAL an administrative fee of SGD 2,000 or such other prevailing amount prescribed by VAL for the COE bidding and registration of the Prize Car on behalf of the Winner;
(f) the Winner shall register the Prize Car through VAL and take possession of the Prize Car within a period of two (2) months from the date of announcement of the result of the Lucky Draw (the “Claim Date”), failing which VAL shall be entitled to charge the Winner reasonable fees for the storage of the Prize Car on a daily basis commencing from the Claim Date at such rate(s) as shall determine at its sole discretion;
(g) VAL will assist to obtain COE on behalf of the Winner subject to the following:
i. the Winner may either request VAL to bid for the COE on his behalf or obtain an open category COE from VAL;
ii. any request for VAL to bid for the COE on the behalf of the Winner shall be according to VAL’s prevailing terms and conditions for providing such service, including but not limited to the payment of the COE bidding deposit of SGD $10,000 (or such amount as may be applicable at the relevant time), including applicable GST, by the Winner at the time of the request; and
iii. any open category COE obtained from VAL shall be at such price and on such terms and conditions as VAL may determine at the relevant time;
(h) In the event the Winner is unable to fulfill the requirements for the registration and delivery of the Prize Car within two (2) months from the date the Winner is determined, the Prize Car shall be forfeited without compensation to the Winner and without requiring VAL to give any notice to the Winner;
(i) the Winner shall not hold VAL or any of its related corporations (or any officer, employee or director of VAL or any of its related corporations) responsible for, or look to VAL or any of its related corporations (or any officer, employee or director of VAL or any of its related corporations) for any losses, claims or liabilities arising from forfeiture of the Prize Car or conduct of the Lucky Draw;
(j) The Winner shall bear the costs of all excluded items set out in Clause 1.1 above;
(k) All payments arising from or in connection with the Prize Car shall be made in full before taking possession of the Prize Car;
(l) VAL shall be under no obligation whatsoever to register the Prize Car in the name of any person other than the Prize Winner as notified in writing by FairPrice to VAL;
(m) The Prize Car is non-transferable and non-negotiable;
(n) For verification purpose, the Winner shall be required to present in person the original notification letter from FairPrice and his or her NRIC to VAL on the scheduled appointment date and location as determined by VAL when claiming the Prize Car;
(o) By participating in the Lucky Draw and/or claiming the Prize Car, the Winner gives consent to VAL and its respective related corporations, business partners and agents to collect, use and disclose his or her name and personal particulars, including but not limited to, personal identification information, contact details and image for identification purposes in connection with the Lucky Draw, and registration and delivery of the Prize Car to Winner. The Winner additionally agrees to the collection, use and disclosure of his or her name, personal particulars, image and voice by VAL or its related corporations, business partners and agents in newspapers, radio, social media and other medium as may be determined by VAL, and to be photographed, filmed and/or interviewed and to co-operate with and participate in the activities organized by VAL or its related corporations for publicity, sales and marketing and promotional purposes without any compensation.
