What is SAF Day about?
It is FairPrice’s way of showing appreciation to our past and present’s NSmen for their contributions to the defence and security of our nation. For one week (27 June – 3 Jul 2019), 6 exclusive products will be on 50% discount for anyone representing SAF 11B, HomeTeamNS IC, SAFRA card or don the SAF uniform in person at FairPrice stores and Warehouse Club.
Eligibility to Participate
- Who’s eligible for SAF day promotion?
Anyone who presents SAF 11B, HomeTeamNS IC, SAFRA card or dons the SAF uniform in person at FairPrice stores and Warehouse Club will be eligible to enjoy the promotion. Please refer below for the visuals of the accepted cards.
- How do I take part?
Simply present your SAF 11B, HomeTeamNS IC, SAFRA card or don the SAF uniform in person to our friendly cashier during payment to enjoy promotional prices. For payment at self-checkout, please refer to "How do I get the discount if I am at the self-checkout counter?"
- Where is the promotion available?
Promotion of the exclusive products will be available at all FairPrice stores, FairPrice Finest, FairPrice Hypermarts and Warehouse Club.
Promotion Mechanics
- How long is this SAF Super Deals promotion?
SAF Super Deals promotion will run for 1 week from 27 June to 3 July with 6 products on offer at 50% off.
- How many of the promotional items can I buy?
You can buy up to 4 units of each promotional products per transaction per card member, while stocks last.
- Can I buy the variant of the promotional item at the special price?
Yes, if the product is indicated as a promotional item.
- Can I collect LinkPoints with this purchase?
Yes, you will still be entitled to LinkPoints at a minimum purchase of $20 in receipts issued on the same day.
- Can I use FairPrice gift vouchers / cards to pay for the promotional item?
Yes, you may use FairPrice gift vouchers / FairPrice gift cards for payment.
- How do I get the discount if I am at the self-checkout counter?
Scan your items as per usual. At the Loyalty and Discounts page, select “SAF Day Super Deals” button. A FairPrice attendant will be alerted and will come over to you to verify the required card/ uniform and approve accordingly.
- How do I get the discount if I am using the Scan & Go app at Funan?
To enjoy the discount at Funan store, please use the self-checkout counters, adhering to verification steps indicated in the above.
- Why is this promotional item not available at some FairPrice stores?
All products are on while stocks last basis and some products may be sold out faster at certain outlets. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
- Why is the same promotion not available on FairPrice Online?
We regret that the online platform is not included in this promotion as our staff needs to sight and verify the information to qualify for their purchase. - Is Warehouse Club included as one of the participating retailers?
Yes, Warehouse Club will also be carrying the 6 products at 50% discount. In addition, there are additional promotion perks like Open House (ie: Warehouse Club membership is not required to purchase products) from 26 June to 16 July where a lot more products are at special prices. 1st 300 NSMEN to spend $100 receives a free 1 year WHC membership. At the point of redemption, SAF 11B/ HomeTeamNS IC or SAF Uniform must be presented/worn. HomeTeamNS Passion cards are not accepted as identification of being a current or previous HomeTeamNS member. Please share other forms of identifications like HomeTeamNS IC or SAFRA card to enjoy the discount.
